A few dramatic words about iPad
At this precise moment, I have yet to form an opinion on the merits of Apple’s new iPad. What I do know is, Mr. Jobs and his apostles have made nary a misstep in the last decade. So I’m going to err on the side of drinking the Kool-Aid.
If you’re looking for more superlatives, look no further than this impressive editing job by Neil Curtis of the iPad Keynote unveiling. It encapsulates the terribly long-winded event quite well.
I myself think Jobs and his cronies might be conducting a bit of cutting-edge hypnosis here that Apple’s keeping on the down-low. This shit just gets increasingly ridiculous, and never once is any clip repeated. (I especially like the brevity of the secondary speakers peppered between Stevie’s mock-turtleneck monologues.)
