Run for your life

This spot for Brooks Sports is like five years old, but it still ranks as one of my all-time favorites. Yet nobody I know (at least, not in the biblical sense) has ever seen it—until now. So it’s sorta new…to you.

Truth:  It’s riotous, it’s poignant, it’s inspiring, it’s animated, it’s owned through and through by its creators (i.e., every small detail gets love) and it’s set to a perfectly catchy, guilty pleasure of a pop ditty (by Chris Ballew of The Presidents of the United States of America). Distill that:  you can’t help but smile while watching it.

Just thought I should give mad props where they’re due—even if they’re five years in arrears, ya know?

CRUCIAL:  To get the most out of the animation, watch in 480p resolution (not that weak-ass 360p default shit), lest ye feel less joy upon watching.
