Consonant with Chrysler’s damn impressive, damn memorable new image rehabilitation program, “Imported from Detroit,” the carmaker—just two years removed from filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy—added a bruising wrinkle to its pimpin’ new clothes.
Thanks to juggernaut of awesomeness Wieden+Kennedy, Portland (OR, not ME), the agency responsible for the brand’s rebirth—including this epic 2-minute Super Bowl spot—Chrysler has expanded its “Imported from Detroit” line of merchandise with a new logo featuring the Detroit fist (a downtown monument to boxing legend Joe Louis) in the middle of the Chrysler wings.
