Cassette tape of the sea
It may be the digital age on terra firma, but the ocean is still stuck in the days of analog.
Just look at this washed-up seaweed I found littering the shores of the Pacific.
Tell me that clump of environmentally sound detritus doesn’t remind you of an unwound cassette tape strewn about some urban landscape, circa 1993.
I bet if you threaded that seaweed into a cassette, you’d hear a killer humpback whale mix.
